Thirty packs, five cards, one Mega Charizard X

Inferno X (インフェルノX, M2) is a Japanese MEGA expansion pack released on 26 September 2025. Each pack holds 5 cards and a box holds 30 packs.

Of the set’s 116 cards, 80 are numbered and 36 sit beyond the main list: 12 AR, 17 SR, 6 SAR and a single MUR. The printed denominator on every card is /080. What you buy here is the Japanese print, on Japanese card stock, in the 30-pack box shown above.

02 · The story

“Burn everything away”

The official copy opens on the battle getting hotter and Mega Charizard X ex arriving, then explains the deck the set is built for: turn a mass of Fire Energy into explosive attack power. The set is named after that card’s attack, インフェルノX.

The engine is the Ability エキサイトターボ (Excite Turbo), shared by Firebreather (№ 107 in Super Rare) and Oricorio ex, which sets up the Inferno X attack. Three more Mega Evolution ex ride along — Mega Heracross ex, Mega Sharpedo ex and Mega Lopunny ex — each with a Super Rare of its own, and the set closes at № 116 with the Mega Ultra Rare: Mega Charizard X ex by takuyoa, the card on the box.

Is this the Japanese or the English set?
Japanese. Inferno X (M2) is the Japanese MEGA expansion pack released on 26 September 2025. In English the cards appeared in Phantasmal Flames on 14 November 2025, with different card numbers.
What is MUR rarity?
MUR stands for Mega Ultra Rare, the top rarity of the Japanese MEGA era. Inferno X has one MUR card: Mega Charizard X ex, № 116.
Why do the cards say /080 when the set has 116?
80 is the size of the main numbered list, and that is the number printed on every card. The 36 cards beyond it — AR, SR, SAR and the MUR — keep counting upwards, so № 116 still reads 116/080.
How many cards are in a box?
30 packs × 5 cards = 150 cards. The set list itself has 116 cards (80 numbered + 36 beyond the list); a box does not contain the full set.
What does “sealed, never resealed” mean?
The box arrives in the original Japanese factory shrink film, as it left the manufacturer. We do not open or re-wrap boxes.
Is there a version without shrink film?
When a no-shrink option exists for a set, it appears as a separate choice on the product page, photographed as it ships.
Do you ship to Germany and France?
