Accessibility Statement

PulloraX is committed to making pullorax.com usable by everyone, including people who browse with a screen reader, with a keyboard only, with speech input, at high magnification, or with reduced motion enabled.

The standard we work to

We build and test this store against WCAG 2.2 Level AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2, W3C Recommendation), and against Israeli Standard IS 5568 Part 1 (September 2023) at Level AA, which adopts WCAG 2.0 and adds national requirements — including clause 2.4.10, Section Headings, which Israel requires at Level AA.

WCAG 2.2 AA includes everything in WCAG 2.0 AA, so working to it satisfies the Israeli standard's baseline as well as the requirements applied in the European Union, the United Kingdom and the United States.

What has been done

An accessibility pass was carried out across the whole storefront in September 2026. It included:

Full keyboard operation of the shopping flow — the cart drawer now takes focus when it opens, keeps focus inside itself while open, returns focus where it came from, and never drops focus when a line is added, changed or removed.
A skip-to-content link that is reachable and visible on focus.
Text and interface contrast measured and corrected against the WCAG relative-luminance formula: at least 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text, focus indicators, form-field borders and button outlines.
Visible focus indicators on every interactive element.
A pause control on every auto-advancing carousel, and no motion at all when the browser reports a preference for reduced motion.
Status messages — cart changes, variant changes, wishlist changes — announced to screen readers through polite live regions.
Predictive search built as a standard ARIA combobox, with the active suggestion exposed to assistive technology.
Filters and sorting that no longer submit the page as a side effect of arrowing through options with the keyboard.
Interactive targets sized to at least 24×24 CSS pixels.
Real heading structure using H tags on every page with hierarchical text content, and a page language that follows the language you are reading in.
Image alternatives on product and editorial images, with decorative artwork hidden from assistive technology.

Known limitations

We would rather tell you what is not finished than claim more than is true.

Interface language. Parts of the interface — some cart, filter and search controls — are still shown in English on the French and German versions of the site. A Hebrew version of the store is available.
Checkout and customer accounts. Checkout, payment and account pages are hosted and controlled by Shopify, not by us. We do not control their code. If you meet a barrier there, tell us and we will help you complete your order another way.
Product photographs. Some product images are supplied by manufacturers and distributors. Where an image carries information that is not repeated in the product text, tell us and we will add it in writing.
Testing. Testing has been carried out against the specifications and in the browser. It has not been audited by an external accessibility auditor, and no formal conformance certification is claimed.

We will acknowledge your message, and we undertake to correct the problem within a reasonable time and in any event within 60 days of receiving it, in line with Regulation 35A(d)(1) of the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments to Service) Regulations, 5773-2013. Where a correction will take time, we will offer you another way to obtain the same service in the meantime.

Accessibility coordinator

Appointing an accessibility coordinator is required under Israeli law of a body providing a service to the public that employs at least 25 people. PulloraX does not reach that threshold, so no coordinator is appointed. Accessibility requests are handled directly by the business owner at the contact details above.

Statutory position

PulloraX is a business established in Israel. Under sub-regulation (g) of Chapter C of the above Regulations, a business whose average annual turnover does not exceed NIS 100,000 is exempt from the internet accessibility requirements of that chapter. PulloraX currently falls within that exemption. We publish this statement, and do the work described above, because we would rather the store be usable than merely be exempt. This statement will be updated when the exemption no longer applies.

PulloraX is also a microenterprise within the meaning of Article 3(23) of Directive (EU) 2019/882 (the European Accessibility Act) and is therefore exempt under Article 4(5) of that Directive. The same applies: we work to the standard regardless.
