01 · What is this set

Thirty packs, five cards, four Ogerpon

Mask of Change (変幻の仮面, SV6) is a Japanese expansion pack in the Scarlet & Violet series, released on 26 April 2024. Each pack holds 5 cards and a box holds 30 packs.

Of the set’s 133 cards, 101 are numbered and 32 sit beyond the main list: 12 AR, 11 SR, 6 SAR and 3 UR. Three ACE SPEC cards sit inside the main numbering. What you buy here is the Japanese print, on Japanese card stock, in the 30-pack box shown above.

02 · The story

“Change your mask and your type, and battle”

Ogerpon, the Pokémon of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, changes type with the mask it wears — and this set prints all four masks as Pokémon ex: Teal Mask (№ 016), Hearthflame Mask (№ 022), Wellspring Mask (№ 038) and Cornerstone Mask (№ 065).

The set makes the mask a game mechanic: the Item card Ogre’s Mask (№ 090) swaps an Ogerpon’s mask, and with it its type, in the middle of a battle. Eight more Pokémon ex sit in the main list — Dragapult, Blissey, Luxray, Palafin among them — and beyond the numbering the four masks return as four Special Art Rares by Yano Keiji, with Kieran and Carmine as the trainer pair. Three ACE SPEC cards are printed inside the numbering: Secret Box, Scoop Up Cyclone and Legacy Energy.

Is this the Japanese or the English set?

Japanese. Mask of Change (変幻の仮面, SV6) is the Japanese expansion pack released on 26 April 2024. The English version of this set is Twilight Masquerade, released on 24 May 2024.

How many Ogerpon ex are in the set?

Four, one for each mask: Teal Mask (№ 016), Hearthflame Mask (№ 022), Wellspring Mask (№ 038) and Cornerstone Mask (№ 065). All four return beyond the numbering as Special Art Rares.

What is an ACE SPEC card?

An ACE SPEC card is so strong that a deck may contain only one of them in total. This set has three: Secret Box (№ 092), Scoop Up Cyclone (№ 093) and Legacy Energy (№ 101).

How many cards are in a box?

30 packs × 5 cards = 150 cards. The set list itself has 133 cards (101 numbered + 32 beyond the list); a box does not contain the full set.

What does “sealed, never resealed” mean?

The box arrives in the original Japanese factory shrink film, as it left the manufacturer. We do not open or re-wrap boxes.

Is there a version without shrink film?

When a no-shrink option exists for a set, it appears as a separate choice on the product page, photographed as it ships.

Do you ship to Germany and France?
