01 · What is this set

Ten packs, ten cards, and a pool built around secret rares

Mega Dream ex is a Japanese High Class Pack, released in Japan on 28 November 2025. Unlike a standard booster box, every pack carries ten cards, and 57 of the set's 250 cards sit beyond the numbered list as secret rares: 20 AR, 9 SR, 10 MA, 17 SAR and a single MUR.

The same cards reached the English game later, under different set names. What you buy here is the Japanese print, on Japanese card stock, in the ten-pack box shown above.

02 · The story

The set where MA was born

Mega Dream ex is where the Japanese game introduced a brand-new rarity: MA, the Mega Attack Rare. Ten cards carry it, numbers 223 to 232, each a Mega Evolution ex — Mega Charizard X, Mega Froslass, Mega Eelektross, Mega Gardevoir, Mega Diancie, Mega Lucario, Mega Hawlucha, Mega Gengar, Mega Scrafty and Mega Dragonite.

Above them sits one card of its own rarity: Mega Dragonite ex № 250, the set's only Mega Ultra Rare. The official product page leads with Mega Dragonite ex, Mega Eelektross ex and Mega Froslass ex, and headlines MA as the set's new arrival.

Before you open one

Is this the Japanese or the English set?
Japanese. Mega Dream ex (M2a) is the Japanese High Class Pack released on 28 November 2025. The English game printed these cards later in other sets, such as Ascended Heroes.
What is a High Class Pack?
A Japanese product format with ten cards per pack instead of the usual five. Mega Dream ex has 10 packs per box — 100 cards in total.
What is MA rarity?
MA stands for Mega Attack Rare, a rarity introduced in Mega Dream ex. The set has ten MA cards, numbers 223 to 232, each a Mega Evolution ex.
How many cards are in a box?
10 packs × 10 cards = 100 cards. The set list itself has 250 cards (193 numbered + 57 secret rares); a box does not contain the full set.
What does “sealed, never resealed” mean?
The box arrives in the original Japanese factory shrink film, as it left the manufacturer. We do not open or re-wrap boxes.
Is there a version without shrink film?
Not for this set at the moment. When a no-shrink option exists, it appears as a separate choice on the product page, photographed as it ships.
Do you ship to Germany and France?
Yes. Every parcel ships tracked with FedEx. Shipping is calculated at checkout from the destination and the weight of your cart.
