Set overview

S11 Lost Abyss is an expansion pack containing 100 numbered cards plus additional secret rares at SR, HR and UR rarity. The defining feature is the return of the Lost Zone — a face-up discard area from which cards cannot be retrieved. Multiple cards reward players for banishing cards to the Lost Zone, creating an entirely new archetype.

Key cards

Giratina VSTAR dominates the set with Star Requiem, a VSTAR Power that instantly knocks out the opponent's Active Pokémon if you have 10 or more cards in the Lost Zone. Supporting the Lost Zone strategy are Colress's Experiment (look at the top 5 cards, keep 3, send the rest to the Lost Zone), Mirage Gate (attach 2 Basic Energy if you have 7+ cards in the Lost Zone), Lost City, Lost Sweeper and Comfey. Delphox V adds another strong attacker to the mix.

What is in the box

A Japanese S11 booster box contains 30 packs with 5 cards per pack (150 cards total). The suggested retail price at launch was ¥4,950 (tax included).
