09 · Questions

Before you open one

Is this the Japanese or the English set?

Japanese. 25th Anniversary Collection (S8a) is a Japanese set released on 22 October 2021, numbered out of 028. English players had their own anniversary set, Celebrations, with a different card list.

What is in a pack?

Five cards, all holo — one of them a basic Energy.

How many cards are in a box?

16 packs × 5 cards = 80 cards. The set has 28 numbered cards plus an SR and a UR; a box does not guarantee the full set.

Are the 25th Anniversary promo packs in the box?

No. The separate promo card pack (25th ANNIVERSARY edition) was handed out at release with every four packs bought. It is not inside the booster box.

What is Pikachu V-UNION?

A Pokémon made of four cards (№ 025–028) that are played together and form one picture.

What does “sealed, never resealed” mean?

The box arrives in the original Japanese factory shrink film, as it left the manufacturer. We do not open or re-wrap boxes.

What does “no shrink” mean?

Japanese Pokémon booster boxes are shrink-wrapped at the factory. “No shrink” describes a box sold without that outer film. The 25th Anniversary Collection box in our store comes in its original Japanese factory shrink film.

Do you ship to Germany and France?

Yes. Every parcel ships tracked with FedEx. Shipping is calculated at checkout from the destination and the weight of your cart.

Who pays import duties?

The buyer. Prices do not include import duties or taxes; your carrier may bill them before or after delivery. Check your country's rules before ordering.
