01 · What is this set

Where the Extra Boosters begin

Memorial Collection (EB-01) is the first Japanese One Piece Card Game Extra Booster, released on 27 January 2024. A pack holds 6 cards. The official list counts 61 types.

Those 61 numbered cards break down into 3 Leaders, 28 Commons, 21 Rares, 8 Super Rares and 1 Secret Rare — Mr.2.Bon.Kurei(Bentham). The official card list holds 80 entries in total, because 19 parallel prints are listed alongside them: every Leader, every Super Rare, the Secret Rare and six Rares carry one parallel each, and Tony Tony.Chopper (EB01-006) carries two. What you buy here is the Japanese print, in the Japanese box.

02 · The story

“The first Extra Booster is here!”

Memorial Collection is the first Extra Booster, and the official Japanese copy describes it in two lines: a large cast of distinctive characters turned into cards, and cards that strengthen the many decks released before it. The English product page adds a third point — three all-new multicolour Leaders — and frames the set as a way to build new decks out of cards from older sets.

Those Leaders are Kouzuki Oden in red/green, Hannyabal in blue/purple and Kyros in black/yellow, each with an alternate-art parallel. The eight Super Rares are Tony Tony.Chopper, Cavendish, Inazuma, Ms. Wednesday, Brook, Laboon, Viola and Shirahoshi, and each has a parallel print — Chopper has two, one of them drawn against a manga-panel background. The lone Secret Rare is Mr.2.Bon.Kurei(Bentham), EB01-061, with one parallel of its own.

09 · Questions

Before you open one

Is this the Japanese or the English set?
Japanese. Memorial Collection (EB-01) is the first Japanese Extra Booster, released on 27 January 2024 with 6 cards per pack. The English edition followed on 3 May 2024 with the same card numbers, but 12 cards per pack.
What is an Extra Booster?
A smaller set that sits outside the main OP-numbered boosters. The official copy for EB-01 describes it as a set that turns many distinctive characters into cards and strengthens decks released before it — 61 types instead of the 121 or more of a main booster.
What is the Secret Rare?
One: Mr.2.Bon.Kurei(Bentham), EB01-061. It carries one parallel entry in the official card list.
Why does Tony Tony.Chopper appear twice in the parallels?
EB01-006 is the only card number in this set with two parallel entries in the official list. One is the regular alternate-art parallel; the other is drawn against a manga-panel background. Both are listed as “(Parallel)” on the official site.
