Thirty packs, five cards, ninety-six cards in the set

Crimson Haze (クリムゾンヘイズ, SV5a) is a Japanese enhanced expansion pack in the Scarlet & Violet series, released on 22 March 2024. Each pack holds 5 cards and a box holds 30 packs.

Of the set’s 96 cards, 66 are numbered and 30 sit beyond the main list: 12 AR, 10 SR, 5 SAR and 3 UR. Three ACE SPEC cards sit inside the main numbering. What you buy here is the Japanese print, on Japanese card stock, in the 30-pack box shown above.

02 · The story

Kitakami arrives in the card game

The official product page makes one claim about this set, and it is a first: the Pokémon and Trainers you meet in Kitakami — the setting of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: The Teal Mask — are printed on cards here for the first time. Poltchageist and Sinistcha, Perrin, Caretaker, and above all Bloodmoon Ursaluna, the black-and-red Ursaluna of Kitakami’s legend.

Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex is the card the set is built around: it is printed as Super Rare, as Special Art Rare by MINAMINAMI Take, and as the gold Ultra Rare that closes the numbering. Greninja ex and Sinistcha ex follow with their own SR and SAR prints. The same page adds a second, practical note — this set is made to be opened and played on the spot in Sealed. Three ACE SPEC cards are printed inside the numbering: Unfair Stamp (№ 053), Hyper Aroma (№ 055) and Survival Brace (№ 059).

Japanese. Crimson Haze (クリムゾンヘイズ, SV5a) is the Japanese enhanced expansion pack released on 22 March 2024. There is no English set of this name; in English these cards appeared inside Twilight Masquerade on 24 May 2024.
What is new about this set?
It is the first set to print the Pokémon and Trainers met in Kitakami, the setting of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: The Teal Mask — Poltchageist, Sinistcha, Perrin, Caretaker and Bloodmoon Ursaluna among them.
What is an ACE SPEC card?
An ACE SPEC card is so strong that a deck may contain only one of them in total. This set has three: Unfair Stamp (№ 053), Hyper Aroma (№ 055) and Survival Brace (№ 059).
How many cards are in a box?
30 packs × 5 cards = 150 cards. The set list itself has 96 cards (66 numbered + 30 beyond the list); a box does not contain the full set.
What does “sealed, never resealed” mean?
The box arrives in the original Japanese factory shrink film, as it left the manufacturer. We do not open or re-wrap boxes.
Is there a version without shrink film?
When a no-shrink option exists for a set, it appears as a separate choice on the product page, photographed as it ships.
Do you ship to Germany and France?
