01 · What is this set

Ten packs, ten cards, an ex in every one

Terastal Festival ex (テラスタルフェスex, SV8a) is a Japanese High Class Pack released on 6 December 2024. Every pack holds 10 cards and one Pokémon ex is guaranteed in each; a box holds 10 packs. Of the set's 237 cards, 187 are numbered and 50 sit beyond the list as secret rares: 12 SR, 33 SAR and 5 UR — no Art Rares in this set.

The set gathers the strong cards of the year and adds the nine Eeveelutions as brand-new Tera ex, with Terapagos ex at the centre. Most numbered cards carry no rarity mark at all; 39 come in a holo finish and 8 are ACE SPEC. What you buy here is the Japanese print, in the ten-pack box shown above.

02 · The story

Cards that shine like gems

The official copy promises cards that shine like gems, with a Pokémon ex guaranteed — and calls the Eeveelutions to gather. Terastal Festival ex is the High Class set of the Terastal year: the nine Eeveelutions, from Vaporeon to Sylveon, each become a Tera ex with a Special Art Rare of their own, and Eevee ex gets two — one drawn by tono, one by the pâtissier Natsuko Shoji.

The 33 Special Art Rares also bring guests from outside the card game: Palafin ex is drawn by Tetsuo Hara of Fist of the North Star. Twelve full-art supporters make up the SR, and five gold Ultra Rares close the set: Iron Leaves ex, Teal Mask Ogerpon ex, Walking Wake ex, Pikachu ex and Terapagos ex.

Before you open one

Is this the Japanese or the English set?
Japanese. Terastal Festival ex (SV8a) is the Japanese set released on 6 December 2024. The English game printed most of these cards later inside the set Prismatic Evolutions, with its own numbering.
What is a High Class Pack?
A Japanese product format with ten cards per pack instead of the usual five, built from the year's strongest cards plus new secret rares. Terastal Festival ex has 10 packs per box — 100 cards in total — and one Pokémon ex in every pack.
Why do most cards have no rarity mark?
In this set the regular cards are printed without a C, U or R symbol. The 39 holo cards and the 8 ACE SPEC cards are marked in the list; everything else in № 1–187 that is not an ex carries no mark.
How many cards are in a box?
10 packs × 10 cards = 100 cards. The set list itself has 237 cards (187 numbered + 50 secret rares); a box does not contain the full set.
What does “sealed, never resealed” mean?
The box arrives in the original Japanese factory shrink film, as it left the manufacturer. We do not open or re-wrap boxes.
Is there a version without shrink film?
Not for this set at the moment. When a no-shrink option exists, it appears as a separate choice on the product page, photographed as it ships.
Do you ship to Germany and France?
Yes. Every parcel ships tracked with FedEx. Shipping is calculated at checkout from the destination and the weight of your cart.
Who pays import duties?
