Customs & Duties

Prices on this site do not include import duties, VAT, sales tax or customs charges. Those are set by the country the parcel is going to, not by us, and they are paid by you.

Who pays, and when

Parcels ship from Japan. When a parcel arrives in your country, customs decides whether anything is owed on it. If it is, the carrier normally contacts you to collect the charges before delivery, and most carriers add their own clearance or brokerage fee on top of the tax itself. That fee is a fixed amount or a percentage depending on the carrier, and it is charged even where the tax is small.

Check your own rules before you order

Import rules for trading cards are not the same everywhere. Some countries let low-value parcels through with nothing to pay, some charge tax from the first unit of value, and a few restrict playing cards specifically. Thresholds also change — several changed during 2026. Before ordering, check your national customs website for the rules that apply to you. If you are not sure your country allows the import, please ask us before you buy.

If you refuse the parcel or do not pay the charges

The parcel is held by customs or by the carrier. Depending on the country it is then returned to us or destroyed. If it is returned to us we refund the order less the outbound and return shipping actually paid, and less any storage charged to us. If it is destroyed or is not released back to us, we cannot refund it. This is not a penalty — it is the cost we have already paid to send it.
